Lovers of coffee would be happy to
know that his favorite beverage
has several health benefits. We
know that coffee contains many
antioxidants and that four cups of
coffee (without sugar of course)
can reduce the risk of melanoma
skin cancer by up to 20 percent.
But, have you ever asked, how the
maximum number of copies that
can still be called healthy to drink
every day? Or in other words, how
many cups of coffee seharikah
called too much and could harm
health?
One to three cups per day
This amount can slightly increase
the risk of high blood pressure,
says a study in the American
Journal of Clinical Nutrition. But,
those who drank less than this
amount did not experience a
reduction in risk.
Another study found that women
who drank two cups of coffee a day
had a risk of heart failure 11
percent lower than those who
drank less than two cups.
While those who consumed two to
three cups a day reduced their risk
of dying from heart disease by 25
percent and 18 percent lower than
likely died from other causes,
according to research published in
the journal Annals of Internal
Medicine.
Exceptions apply for people who
are genetically metabolize
caffeine slowly. For them, two to
three cups a day may increase the
risk of heart attack by 36 percent.
Three to five cups a day
People who drank three to four
cups per day, had a 25 percent risk
of developing diabetes was lower
than those drinking less than two
cups a day, according to research
presented at the World Congress on
Prevention of Diabetes and its
Complications in 2012.
But, if you already have diabetes,
drinking four cups a day can
increase blood sugar levels as
much as eight percent and this
could memerburuk your diabetes
symptoms, according to another
study published in Diabetes
Journal.
Among other benefits, three to five
cups a day has been shown to help
reduce the risk of Alzheimer's
disease by up to 20 percent and
reduce the risk of oral cancer
deaths by 49 percent.
Keep in mind, the type of coffee
you drink is also very influential.
For example, brews French press
coffee contains cafestol, which is a
compound that can improve
cholesterol levels.
This explains why the study found
that drinking five cups of coffee
France every day can raise levels
of bad fats in the body for six to
eight percent.
On the other hand, five cups of
regular coffee per day can
interfere with in vitro fertilization
rate of approximately 50 percent.
Six cups a day
It sounds like a large number.
However, women who drank six
cups of coffee per day had a risk of
death 15 percent lower than those
drinking less than this amount.
In this study, published in the New
England Journal of Medicine,
studied coffee is kind of decaf and
no sugar.
Here we get the impression that
drinking coffee, even in large
quantities, can provide health
benefits greater than the losses
that maybe we can.
To ascertain whether this
impression is correct or not, Rob
van Dam, Ph.D., assistant
professor in the department of
nutrition at Harvard School of
Public Health, provide an
explanation.
"We have not seen that drinking
coffee, bahka up to six cups a day,
can increase the risk of death
atatu a disease, when compared to
not drinking coffee," he said.
If you want to protect and extend
the life of the heart, drink three to
five cups of coffee a day with a
cup size of approximately 236 ml
and not a large glass coffee
outlets that are larger than half a
liter plus cream, sugar and others.
Exceptions apply to pregnant
women because caffeine can harm
fetal development, vulnerable
people caffeine because it can
make them restless and rapid
heart beat, and those who do not
like coffee.
For them, van Dam advised to
drink water and tea for both of
them is also a healthy beverage.
