Lazing Will Not Cause Heart Disease, Origin Done It

Lazing on a daily basis is not likely to cause heart disease, as long as it is done in a moderate level, according to a study.

The researchers concluded that the only activity lazing high level, ie more than 10 hours per day, which can increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or other diseases related to the heart.

Compared to sit back or lazing in less than three hours each day, an idle more than 10 hours, increasing the risk of heart disease by eight percent.

"Our findings show that the time spent sitting or lazing, may increase the risk of cardiovascular disorders either independently or mixed with other risk factors such as body mass index and physical activity, only at a very high level," said lead author of the study, Dr
Ambarish Pandey of the University
of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

It remains unclear exactly how much time lazing be avoided to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, said Pandey.

To be able to draw conclusions, researchers analyzed data from nine long-term studies that followed more than 700,000 adults and calculate the relationship between their active time with the incident events such as heart
attack and stroke.

Which meant "an idle time" among which are periods of low activity, such as sitting, watching TV or sitting in the car during the trip.

Applying an active lifestyle and exercise regularly is a powerful way to help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

"Improving physical activity, avoid
lounging too long, seek more motion in the workplace, it would be useful to reduce idle time and thus also lower the risk of heart attack," said Pandey again.
