Mostly Heart Attack Patients Not Realized
A heart attack may not be as scary
as we imagine. In fact, most cases
of heart attack was realized by the
sufferer. In a study in the United
States, a team of researchers
trying to figure out how many
cases of heart attacks
unconscious (silent heart attack)
happened to 9,000 people in a
period of 9 years of research.
In fact, nearly 45 percent of cases
of heart attacks in the category is
not realized. The new type of heart
attack known when doctors
performed an electrocardiogram
(EKG) routine.
Although it was not a heart attack
is detected, it does not mean
harmless.
People who have heart attacks are
34 percent more likely to suffer a
premature death than people who
did not have heart problems.
"Increased risk of death was
largely due to heart attack will
damage the heart muscles," said
Timothy Byrne,
executive director of heart disease
in abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital.
Without proper treatment
pascaserangan heart, damage to
the heart muscle will trigger a
subsequent attack, and more
conscious patient.
According to Byrne, risk factors
such as smoking, unhealthy diet,
hypertension, or high cholesterol,
heart attack trigger unconscious.
If you've entered the age of four
heads and have the above risk
factors, or have a family history of
heart disease, should do a routine
health check-up, including doing
EKG.
From the investigation it will be
known whether the heart is
functioning optimally and can also
be seen whether there is damage
to the heart that never happened.
